In Florence, red numbers identify commercial or public places such as restaurants or businesses, while blue and black numbers identify private homes. Anyone wishing to visit Roberto Ugolini in person should definitely tell the driver “17 Rosso”; otherwise, you could easily end up somewhere else, since red house numbers follow a completely different logic than black ones. Once you have overcome this fascinating Florentine obstacle, you will find yourself in front of the inconspicuous doors of the shoe artisan, between an osteria and a bar. 17 Red – the perfume
17 ROSSO embodies a passion for extraordinary craftsmanship like no other. To underline this, 17 Rosso also features an extraordinarily high concentration of perfume oil, a whopping 30%, which is why it is declared an Extrait de Parfum.
The idea, as for all the perfumes in the collection, is Herbert Stricker's, and is then realised by perfumers Christian Calabrò and Maurizio Cerizza.
The top notes already raise expectations for an impressive fragrance: Fruity white peach stands out, wrapped in fabulous leather-like saffron, fresh mint and green raspberry leaves. Added to this is the fruity Cananga oil from the tropical plant Cananga odorata , also known as ylang-ylang. The heart note is rich Damask rose, spicy fruity pink pepper and peony notes, rounded out by peppery Tropaeolum. Balsamic Styrax resin, ambrette seed and woody Amyris, along with vetiver and cedarwood form the base.
17 ROSSO is a truly unisex perfume. The bottle has been painted in an exciting metallic red, which is well suited to this wonderful house number in Florence.
